Located in the Saint Germain des Près area of Paris, the Gallery Samarcande opened in 1973. It is dedicated to Greco-Roman antiquities, Egyptian and Middle East, Asiatic and Islamic art.
Sabrina Uzan had been raised studying antics and lived all her life surrounded by pieces from ancient art.
She is now managing the gallery Samarcande since 2013 and wish to share her passion for antic pieces with the eyes of her generation.
She is a Member of the “Chambre Européenne des Experts Conseil en Oeuvres d’Art” (CEOA) and a Member of the “Syndicat National des Antiquaires”.
The gallery got over the years into a serious collaboration with many art institutes (Musée du Louvre, Musée Guimet, Metropolitan Museum of Art, David Collection…) and collectors from all over the world. The gallery had participated to major fairs such as Tefaf Maastricht, Cultura Basel, Salon du collectionneur Paris.
